About Second Chance Landing

Our Story

This 3rd generation family farm began to come back to life in 2012 when Brian and Melissa began to work on the propety.  The farm was built by Brian's grandfather who raised hogs, cows, chickens and farmed the land with corn and beans. It was important to Brian and Melissa to preserve every building possible to honor the life his grandparents had built.  The restoration work continues with plans for an additional guesthouse renovating the chicken house that was built in the 1930's.

This farm is located West of Rhineland and just 12 minutes from a tourist favorite destination, Hermann, Missouri.  There are two lodging options, a 3 bedroom restored farmhouse accommodating up to 8 people and a converted grain bin guesthouse for 2 people.  It's the perfect location for Katy Trail riders/walkers.  We are just steps from the trail.  Our spaces have all the amenities and outdoor space allowing for campfires, entertainment and star gazing.  The property also has an event space accommodating up to 40 people. Perfect for small celebrations, meetings or events.  Call for pricing for the event space or rent the entire property.

At Second Chance Landing, our mission is to provide guests with a unique and memorable lodging experience. Our beautifully restored farmhouse and one-of-a-kind grain bin guest house offer comfort and charm in the heart of nature. We are passionate about hospitality and ensuring every guest feels at home.  Our guests reviews tell us we are getting that right.
